Note: when shipping via Next Day Air, 2nd Day, or 3rd Day: oversized orders (such as crib sets, two or more diaper bags, or very large items) may require additional shipping fees. If your order is subject to any such fees, we will contact you immediately. We will not ship your order or charge your credit card until we receive your approval. At La Petite Playhouse, there are no hidden fees.
Undeliverable shipments and refused deliveries will be charged for the original shipping fees plus a 10% handling fee.

Small furnishings, décor accessories and bedding are usually shipped via ground service with small package carriers such as UPS and FedEx. Items shipped via UPS or FedEx should arrive within 5 to 7 business days of the lead time noted on the web site. If your UPS or FedEx package arrives damaged, please retain all packaging materials and contact us at: customercare@lapetiteplayhouse.com or call us at (800) 730-0292 within one week of delivery to arrange for a replacement.
International Orders:
We do accept orders for international shipments. Please be aware of the following:
For customers outside the contiguous 48 states (US) or those with an APO/FPO address: You may email us (customercare@lapetiteplayhouse.com) or phone 1 800 730 0292 for quotes on shipping prior to ordering, if you would like. This policy is to avoid any shipping availability issues in your area as well as to accurately quote shipping charges. If you prefer to order online prior to requesting a shipping quote, we will adjust your shipping total once the order is placed and/or shipped.
Free Shipping does not apply to orders outside the contiguous 48 states (US) or APO/FPO destinations. The consumer will be responsible for any customs charges, duties or other expenses that are incurred in these situations.
Payment Options:
La Petite Playhouse accepts credit card payments from Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Cashier’s checks, PayPal and wire transfer are also accepted.
Sales Tax:
Since La Petite Playhouse operates in California, we are required to collect an 8.25% sales tax on orders shipped to a California address. Products shipped outside the state of California will not be charged sales tax.
Delivery Time:
Most orders ship within 2 business days from when the order was placed. However, because many of our products are hand-crafted and made-to-order, the shipping time can be longer. Shipping time frames reflected in products descriptions are based on estimates from our artisans. We will make every effort to expedite the manufacturing and shipping of items to you and will notify you of any delays. La Petite Playhouse cannot be held responsible for delays beyond the estimated delivery times given.
Order Tracking:
Once an order is completed successfully, our system automatically generates a confirmation email receipt with your order information. Once an order has been shipped, we will send you an email with the tracking information, Please allow the specified time frame next to the product description for the arrival of your order.
Returns / Exchanges:
Your baby is very special, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it, in its original condition and packaging, for a refund, exchange or store credit within 14 days of receipt of the item. (some exclusions apply; please see below for further information). Simply call us at (800) 730-0292 or email us at: customercare@lapetiteplayhouse.com within 14 days of receipt of the item and we will give you a return authorization number (valid for 10 business days). Once we receive your return, we will issue you a refund credit to the credit card used to make the original purchase. Gifts may be exchanged, returned for store credit, or credited back to purchaser’s credit card. We cannot issue a refund to the gift recipient.
If we receive your return without a return Authorization Number, after the allotted 10 business day window has passed, or if we find that the merchandise has been used, your merchandise will be sent back to you at your expense. We encourage all returns to be sent via insured mail for protection against loss or damage.
Please call or email us for the return address. Sometimes, items need to be returned to the manufacturer directly and not to La petite Playhouse. If you ship it to the wrong address, you will be charged the re-shipping fee.
Please read the following for more details:
-We cannot refund shipping costs, all shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility.
-The returned product must be in new and unused condition and in the original box with all the documentation, parts and accessories to insure full credit. Tags must be uncut and still attached.
-If you choose to return an item that was shipped to you free of charge, you will receive a refund minus the appropriate shipping costs as outlined in the shipping information section.
-Hand-painted, personalized and all made-to-order items require payment in full upon order and cannot be returned or exchanged, as they are crafted to your personal specifications. If you wish to cancel a custom order, it must be cancelled before the order is placed with the Designer. If you are unsure if an item is returnable, please email us at: customercare@lapetiteplayhouse.com before placing the order.
-All sale items are final sales.
Cancellations:
La Petite Playhouse works to ship orders as quickly as possible. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order after it has been placed. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at customercare@lapetiteplayhouse.com and we will attempt to cancel your order. If your order has already shipped, please see our return policy for further instructions.
If you wish to cancel a custom order, it must be cancelled before the order is placed with the designer. Please note: all personalized and custom-made items are non returnable.
Correction of Errors and Inaccuracies:
The information on this website may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). Please note that such errors, inaccuracies or omissions may relate to product description, pricing and availability.
Gift Certificates:
To help you give the perfect gift, La Petite Playhouse offers gift certificates. Our gift certificates are available in $50 increments. Please note that gift certificates are non-refundable, and must be used within one year of the issue date. Click here to order a gift certificate.
